Look Taller Without A Sexy Pair Of Heels

There are some simple ways a women can dress to look taller without heels, and the formula for dressing taller isn’t really that difficult to learn. It’s just a matter of sticking with a few rules of thumb when buying clothes. Of course, a kind-confidence, a smile, and a good intention will trump any formula for dressing well.

To look stunning, you mustn’t forget about maintaining the right figure proportions. Wearing your top loose “cuts“ your figure in half, making your torso look bulkier and longer while ”shortening" your legs. It’s better to wear the top tucked into the skirt as this will highlight the waist, “lengthen” the legs, and generally make your figure more fragile and slender.

Top Knot -
I’ve been rocking this hairstyle so much recently! It’s a great way to get my hair off my face, and totally chic up any look. Not to mention, the extra height on top of my head really helps to elongate me, showing off my neck and shoulders. Plus it’s a great way to show off some awesome statement earrings.

Vertical Stripes -
Striped print or pattern clothing is always in no matter what the season. Vertical Stripes outfits are the best friends of petite women. Vertical stripes pants, jeans, skirts, dresses, shorts or suits make you look taller along with giving you a slimmer look. You can wear a striped dress with an open straight jacket and cardigan.

Avoid anything too loose or boxy and stick to cropped styles — ankle-length pants, ¾ sleeves, etc. Seeing that extra inch or two of leg or forearm will trick the eye into thinking that your limbs are just so long they don't fit into normal clothes. It's subtle, but it works.

Wear darker colors such as black, blue, green, red, brown, purple, dark tan or dark grey to look taller and slimmer. If you want a softer appearance then go for cream or ivory color.
